Started Saturday morning off with getting her ready! She got a oil and filter change, new impeller, re-installed the heater, and finally finished wiring the new Exile 65m in boats.

Ash gave me a helping hand and monitored the water so I could nose around and make sure everything was good to go.

With the lift on the truck, and the tires sticking out an inch past the body I knew I would have more rocks flying than I did with the ford. So I dug around on the net and studied all the mud flap systems out, including Mike showing me what his were and decided I needed to just make my own how I wanted them. Built these Friday night and painted them Saturday. I'mm in the process of getting some stainless steel to make some weights for the bottom of them. They need a little more than just the weight of the rubber to not blow back as much.

We had pretty crappy weather Sunday, 20+ mph winds and cloudy as all get out, but we were headed that way regardless!

The girls and dogs were thrilled to be there. I should have taken more pics of Crash, this guy LIVES for the water.

I didn't know the water in texoma was so clear, looks good tho. Did you get to ride at all or was it too windy?

Only thing I noticed is the blower. It kicks on, but it has developed some form of growl to go with it. I didn't get to check it out when we were out there, so I will do it this week. It acts like it is moving air but something is trying to restrict it. Should be a simple fix.

The last picture is awesome - I love the setting.

Excellent contrast between natural/rough shorline with leafless trees and smooth/finished/bright Supra. Great shot. Glad you're out. I'm gonna be there soon. Got a wheel bearing on the rear of the Suburban to attend to.

Awesome man, i like your flaps, might i sugest making a center flap slightly shorter then the outters, any rocksflying under the truck and especially in turns goes right out the center. I took mine off for a while and thats how i got the rocks chips on my cross member on the trailer =(

Looks like it was a great day and clouds dont matter, heck you seem to get the worst sunburn on cloudy days LOL
