My engine only cranks every 7th try or so. It always clicks but doesn't always turn over. Jumping the solenoid posts makes it crank when it is having trouble. I'm pretty certain the contacts in the solenoid are bad but cannot come up with any way to open it up to clean them. Does anyone know the part number for the solenoid for a 2005 Mobius LSV? I partially rebuilt the starter with parts for a Delco Remy starter 8000282 or 9000884; so, I'm guessing the solenoid would be for the same number but am not sure. My boat is in storage right now; so, I don't have the part with me. I found what I think looks like it here

http://www.texasindustrialelectric.com/starter_solenoids.asp

listed as 7-1044.

Anyone know the right part number?

Thanks.

Do a search, I have listed it before. I started the thread but can't remember what it is called.

Google search might work better ... Starter part, supra, moomba, kg's supra 24, crank, Indmar.... Etc

Id be more help if I wasnt on my phone, sorry
