Saw over on WW that Moomba will be represented at the West Coast Wakesurf Open this year and their bringing a Mojo! Can't wait to see folks opinions of the boat versus some of the others that will be there.

Here is a list of the boats tentatively scheduled to be on hand:

1. 2012 Tige Z3 (2 of them, ours and then a backup)
2. 2012 Tige RZ2
3. 2012 Centurion 244 or 233
4. 2012 MB Sports Tomcat 24 if possible, if not Tomcat or B52 23
5. 2012 Sanger 237 or 239 Surf Edition
6. 2012 Moomba Mojo 2.5

I think they listed them highest to lowest based on MSRP. :D

That's some stiff competition there for all. They have "maybes" from Supreme & MC, but no mention of Malibu/Axis. Wish this was closer so I could go. There are lessons avaialbe from the top riders, too.

link to the WW post. You have to get thru a lot to find the list toward the bottom of page one.

I would be nice to see another skiers boat such as the 242 as well as a Bu.

my friend sue(malibu) is going. She's helping on jeff's avy from Soulcraft Surfboards outta meridian idaho. I can't wait to see her when she gets back and hear bout the boat reviews. she had a lot to talk about after last year's event. I'm hoping to tag along next year :) she and her hubby are camping at the lake for the weekend and he shot well over 1000 pics last year..

I'm sure "Ragboy" from Wake9 will make a comment on the Mojo's wake. While the Malibu 247 is not representing it has a pretty good reputation as being an awesome surf boat with a crazy big wake when slammed. Unfortunately the factory gas fill and vent is on the regular footed side and when weighted heavy for surfing the vent is known to take in water. Some regular footed riders with 247's have moved the vent to the goofy side. I can see the vent being an issue during a competition seeing the weight they use and most riders are regular footed. Best of luck to the Mojo and I hope they or someone experiments with different weight configurations AND I hope some takes video of the wake.
