WATER TEMP RUNNING ABOUT 210!! LOOKED AT PRIME PUMP LOOKES
GOOD HAS 350 Hr ON BOAT.DONT KNOW IF THE MAIN WATER PUMP
IS WORKING OR NOT DONT LEAK WATER.HAS 5.8 351
IF YOU KNOW WHAT THE PART# FOR THE WATER PUMP OR WHAT TO TRY

First check the intake side of the transmission cooler. It is a cylidrical 9" in-line radiator for the trans. fluid, on the port side of the motor in-line with the water intake hose. Remove the hose and check for weeds and debris in there. If all checks well, Check the impellar for wear or missing blades. Keep us posted. Brian Raymond

Boat has strainer at bottom inlet and one at the oil cooler. Are you talking about an additional one? I have checked all lines for debree. Primer pump, impellor. Thermostate working properly, has 180 degree thermostate in it. Is there a way to run the boat out of the water to test it? In need of help bad. Could this be the main water pump problem? What would be the cost of a water pump?
