Hey yall, I had the Mobius Winterized at Dallas Ski in Decamber, well, I had them leave the (2) freeze plugs out. They said it is 75.00 to "summerize" it which includes running the boat. Is this needed? Can I just put the freeze plugs back in myself? What else would be involved?

Yes just put all the plugs back in and hook up all the hoses and you should be good to go.

Cool... I really didn't want to pay 75.00 and drag it up there for two days. There are (2) plugs they gave me... I reackon I will have a look see tonight and get them back in!

They are probably the engine block plugs. One on each side should take you all of 5 minutes unless the threads in the block got rusted up. I always drained the block and put the plugs right back in because if you leave em out for a while they can be kind of a pain to put back in.

If the holes are rusted just hit em with some wd-40, I say it's a pain but it will really only take an extra couple minutes. No we traded it in to dallas ski boats.

Casey, put some anti-sieze on them before you put back in. Make it easier to take out and keeps rust to a minimum. Mst the time they tape your plugs to steering wheel so you don't forget. My buddy showed me how t winterize my boat and I always tape them to steering wheel. Dos Equis Amber or Negro Mondelo is good to Fish Boy...LOL

Not sure but my boat did have like 53x hours on it. Other than that it was clean.

Just stay away from Corona. That's the one the Mexicans see you drinking (and paying extra for) and they laugh at the gringos.

Dusty introduced me to "Love & War" a few weeks ago- thinking it was the same place/chain. We enjoyed a Friday liquid lunch before heading to the boat show. Had a few brisket tacos, too. Real good stuff!

When in TX, stick with Shiner. Can't go wrong there. Gotta go find me some of that black lager now. Mmmmm.

Kane, "LAW" as I call it features every Shiner flavor they make. It's kinda their thing I guess. As far as LAW goes, I'm a regular. I'm there every single Monday for lunch. Yum, I'm getting hungry.

so wait, you drive all the way to plano from fort worth to go to love and war??? if there is more than the one in plano i am going to be deeply disappointed. they also have great live bands there, and yes as dusty stated, pretty much every shiner beer you can think of. ill be in the DFW in a few weeks and we are going to hit it up. and cowboys red river, and maybe earmark or sneaky petes...or both
