I saw this on the way to work this morning. Very disheartening as mine is nowhere near ready to go.

Well, I have 3 kids and a wife that can't seem to help me get the family budget in line. Maybe KG can help me with my taxes so I feel more comfortable with plunking down a big ole' chunk of change.

Are those 80s? They look pretty big, i personally like them all on the same bar myself, i would need to see a side profile to see if i like them front or rear bar. I know for me it was a matter of fit vs looks and thats how mine all ended up on the outer bar.

#1 looks good from that angle but does it look goofy from other angles? I'd have to see it. I like them on the back bar better so I can turn 'em up and the in-boat ones down a bit for the kiddies. Nice speakers though.

Ugh, this is why I didn't post the pics a month or so back when I took them. I thought I had pretty much decided I liked the look of #3, maybe with them pushed a little more in, but not as much as #1. My wife likes them all on the rear bar.

I have some side view pics on the computer. I'll try to post those up next week.

Ideally, sound wise, it is my understanding that all on the rear bar is the best case scenario. The staggered setup could leave some of the highs a little short. It is also possible the rear most cans could cause some reflection of the of sound down into the boat from the forward most speakers playing into the back of them.

However, from inside the boat the #2, all on the rear bar, takes up more head room than I'd like and more than the staggered setups. All on the front bar doesn't quite work with the Z5.

I like the look of them in all 3 pics. Side views would help narrow it down a bit, but mostly I'd be looking for headroom. Speaking for myself, the last thing I would need is something else to bang my head on!

I've decided I need to rehang and reevaluate, lol. I actually thought the z5 would be easier to get to with staggered setup.

Yes, they are 10s.

Drew may be right, I may be kidding myself thinking I have an option. :p

Mapleleaf, yes top mount is out of the question. You are right, gravity08 had 6 80s across the top and then the factory Roswell with ws 650s on the underside.

Jester was on the ski slopes today if i recall.

Boone, how was it man?

I know on my home this morning i saw 9 fishing boats headed to Hagg, i was jealous to say the least. I told Claudia if i didnt have to work tonight id pull the boat out and hit the lake too LOL.

Dave, yea down in your area 59 is prety chilly, up heres thats Shorts weather man, you give me 60 and sunny and im on the lake up here. Id have to wear a wet suit as im sure at best the water is low 50s but it wouldnt surprise me if Hagg was high 40s as they just filled it up for the summer.

It got up to 79 degrees on March 1 so I took a few friends out on the lake, one girl decided to do some wakeboarding! The water was absolutely freezing but that wasn't stopping her. We all had a blast and I can't wait for it to warm up some more!

I'll try to get a few photos and maybe a video from today up soon.

It is nice to be out on the water anytime even if it is a little chilly. It is easily tolerable with a 4/3 wetsuit, boots, and gloves. Although my toes froze while winching the boat on the trailer just wearing flip flops.

We can't wait for 70 here to get out on the boat. It may only happen 3 days out of the year. :)

I am learning to adjust to the NW weather. I moved from NC about a year and a half ago and remember boating in warmer air temps and warmer water on Christmas day. It is sweet that I was snowboarding Friday night and wakesurfing today.

Couple seasona and when the air and water are 60 you will out in trunks. Thats how i am. Water temp hits 60 i dont need a wetsuit. I have trunked it down to 56 but that was pretty extream LOL I got a little more whimpy when i got my wet suit but honestly if the water is over 60 in my wetsuit i feel hot.

KG - I like the staggered pod look. That opening walk way for head clearance may just save you a few choice words in front of the kiddos one day.

Here's my meager contribution for March - nothing exciting, moving day to a new storage location as my old spot was terrible with wind damage and a muddy mess grass patch to park on...

Boone nice i actually didnt watch till the end, no music to keep my entertained LOL.

As for March, yes pretty much every year we have a storm pass in March to remind us old man winter isnt quite ready to leave let. We will still get some pretty cold nights till mid April.

Chawk yes what KG said. Its a bit more then that to surf but thats how to speed up and slow down. Course if you feel like your standing hard on the front of the board to speed up you prolly arnt in the sweet spot, or you need to move your foot slightly forward.

Standing on your back foot hard to slow down means your in the speet spot but might need to move back a little. It is a true balancing act because even after you get the jist of it you will find your constantly shifting weight front to back to keep in the wave.

This is die to how water reacts moving under the board, you will be moving the board up and down much like a fish moves it tail up and down or side to side to propell its self threw water.

After you get the front to back down you will use heel and toe like on a wake board to move up and down in the wave and gain speed to do tricks and such

I will be working on it soon just got back last night at midnight. second run with the Go pro got ripped off my helmet in the trees. luckily we went around again (same run) and found it in the pines. wife would not have been happy ( dont trust the adhesive, go with the helmet straps).

Got some good vids of me taking a couples headers, with a yard sale to follow. LOL

Let me tell you....

Ocean surfing is a ton of work for a 10 second ride. Wakesurfing is so much more relaxing. Plus the surf fin to the ribs was not so pleasant. Oh well.... I will have to try again tomorrow.

My Mom moved down her 3 years ago. I won't be waiting another 3 years to come back down. It is awesome here.

Bwahaha David, nice touch!!

@Ryan, those are floating barges. The ones in the picture are privately owned. Basically a floating shack. One has some stairs to the roof and a slide. Little interior room for some chairs, couch, patio with deck etc. The marina on the other side of the lake has maybe about 50 or so of these. Some owned by marina, some private. Marina fees apply to the owners I believe since they are tied down. On long weekends they will pull them out off the marina a little bit and folks will rent them for the weekend

We rode white rock creek but when we drove over the trinity at the hwy 19 bridge there was an entire tree sticking up out of the water at the boat ramp along with misc logs and such scattered through out. We are planning a trip to bethy creek to ride the river Easter weekend so we hope the debris is cleared up by then

And yes it is the moomba font
