High Oil Pressure

I've noticed after my first oil change my oil pressure gauge reads high (to be honest I never looked at it before the oil change, as it could have always been high). Is it bad if the oil pressure is high? If so, what can be done?

Define high.

Between 60 and 80. Until the boat warms up, the oil pressure is pushing 80.

Indmar manual page B-1 4 psi min cold, 18 psi min hot, no max.

I'd watch the temp gauge. If that stays normal and the OP is not burried, I think you s/b fine.

I run b/t 60 & 80 as well.
