Can you put a wake plate on an 2006 Ls dd .i need a bigger wake

I don't know how the transom is set up on your boat but what you need is ballast. The wake plate will shape the wake but i don't think it will not make it bigger. I anything it may squash the wake. The biggest wake is achieved when the plate is all the way up which is very similar to no wake plate at all.

I am not the expert here so you may want a second opinion.

I second that! Sack it out with Ballast or peeps is what you need. Wakeplate will just help "shape" your wake.

A wake plate will help slightly at slow speeds,But as speeds come up the plate will actually lift you out slightly,thus making a flatter wake. Weight is what you want to increase the wake size of any true significance.
