I currently have one Kicker KM10 in Kicker's marine box powered by a JL Audio M4300 4 channel amp bridged on 2 channels. The amp's specification say it'll put out 150W RMS x 2 @ 4 ohm, so it would seem I could run a second Kicker KM10 off this amp (assuming I can find somewhere to put it!). Has anyone done this? Good idea or bad?? Will it be underpowered? Any thoughts appreciated. Thanks, Tom

150 watts RMS is spot on for the SMK-10 sub. So, if that amp does indeed deliver 150W in bridge mode and that amp is a full-range (does low-pass) then I see no reason running a second SKM-10 off it.

JL Audio has always used very conservative ratings for their amplifiers.
At one point JL Audio converted to the CEA2006 power rating standard. So the model changed to the M4500, although the amplifier is identical, and the rating changed from 300 watts to 500 watts total or 250 watts times two at 14.4 volts in the 4-ohm bridged mode to conform to CEA2006 standards.
Its plenty of power even at the lower 12.5 volt rating.
The JL Audio E, G or M 4300, 4500, 6450 and 6600 are keepers. If you have one hold onto it and keep it in play.
