Liquor, beer, or otherwise! Wine is for women so don't even talk about you favorite vintage bottle of "penis noir" or what ever you call it!

Sipping I love Pendelton whisky over rocks with a splash of Dr. Pepper
Red bull vodka w a splash of OJ.
Budlight for the summer
A good amber for the winter

Winter: Yeungling Black n Tan
Sam Adams Black and Brew
Sam Winter Lager

Summer: Miller Lite (it's 100 here so you have to keep it light)

My brother brews the best beers I've ever had-- an Irish Amber that will make you cry; an Oktoberfest that makes you want to sing Bavarian folk songs and a chocolate stout that you can have for dessert

Pickmeup: Bloody Mary xtra spicy early, or Vodka/RedBull late

Sippin or nippin: Makers Mark bourbon or any Irish Whiskey

LOL! Yeah, or a Diet Fresca (with a splash of pinot grigio) spritzer.

Winter - Amber ales
Summer - mostly BL, a gin or vodka tonic when it's hot and I'm beered out.
Campfire - Crown Royal, or my new liking is Dark Honey by Seagrams. Dat's guud schtuff!

Coors light they changed the water or something-- gets you sick these days. Blue Moon is not bad but a little orange peel helps a lot. Can't argue with Absoluts.

Primary Beer: Miller Light
When I'm feeling crazy beer: Corona or Tecate, both with lime

too many mohito's in cancun many years ago, so I do not touch the hard stuff AT ALL...

depends on what day of the month I'm drinking:
-pay weekend=widmer hef/blue moon/shocktop(agree with chawk, I always order it fruit-free)
-non pay weekend=coors light
-camping weekend=keystone light(just due to the volume of beer consumed)...

Vodka fresca, oj and a lime in summer, usually on the golf course.called a sand wedge
Sub cranberry for the oj and you got a one iron.

LMAO... kinda what I was thinking.

Red Beers never did much for me but Orange Beers are the chit!!

Chuck Norris - There are variations but this is Mine (Cherry Mcgillicuddy's, Vanilla McGillicuddy's, Liquid Ice Energy Drink, and a spash of 7)

Firefly Lemonade - Firefly Vodka (sweet tea flavored infused vodka) and lemonade. It's like a spiked Arnold Palmer

PS.....I've got the wife making her own vodka with jolly ranchers. Get the bottles from World Market and put flavored Jolly Ranchers in the bottom and fill it up with Vodka. Shake every 15min to disolve the candy and within a few hours you have flavor infused into the vodka. Cherry Cokes are great now :)

One of the drink that i love is Green tea shot. Now not to be confused with its name. It's not a green tea rather its a nice combination of whiskey and lemon soda. I got to know about it from an article (https://advancedmixology.com/blogs/art-of-mixology/green-tea-shot) and when i try it at bar my soul is just revive.
What a drink it is.

Sweet and absolutely delicious.

I recommend it to you guys from bottom of my heart to try it once.

Time to revive an old thread I found bored at work today.....

It is 'Merica weekend and most of us will be on the water, drinking, cooking, and blowing things up. Others will think we are all crazy, even though yesterday was Canada day.

But since we celebrating our treason, might as well have a good drink.

Think I'm sticking with Black Coffee in the morning and Bourbon in the evening - I prefer wheated versions (Weller's, E.H. Taylor, Eagle Rare, McKenna)
Maybe slide a Manhattan in there with the cheaper stuff.

Of course there is beer in-between, but nothing worth noting.

I’m a bourbon, scotch, whisky on the rocks guy. Matcha latte with coconut milk in the am, water through the day, bourbon, a few select wines, or tequila and lime perrie in the evening. I only drink beer on the boat, Pacifico bottle with lime.

For my wife I make what I call the buzzed hummingbird:

1 oz lavender infused simple syrup
3 oz Bourbon (something with apple and caramel notes
1 oz water
Half a freshly squeezed lemon
Egg white

Shake and strain into a coup glass. Shave some ice into glass with a grater, and garnish with dried lavender, dried pear wheel, and an edible flower of purple hue.

Easy button drink is a peanut butter and jelly

3 oz peanut butter whisky
1 oz Chambord
1 oz water

Shake and strain with ice and pour into a rocks glass with a baller cube.

Great July 4th drink, and I have mentioned it elsewhere on this forum, I call it the bomb pop.

Red white and berry Smirnoff and simply lemonade.....50-50 mix, tastes like a liquid bomb pop.

Beer, APA’s, IPA’s, Hefe’s and PBR.

Otherwise, bourbon, Scotch (highland or Speyside) with enough water to make it perfect.

If you like bourbon and scotch, I highly recommend watching the following documentaries......after watching, you will drink twice as much of each and realize ALL bourbon and scotch is good.

NEAT (Hulu)
Straight up:Kentucky bourbon (Tubi)
Scotch, A golden dream (Hulu)

Good thread!

Boat drinks: Athletic brewing beers, non alcoholic craft beer. Its really good. Expensive. And I don't run over the kids when drinking it ;-)

Kokanee is my go to land beer.

American Gin and tonic is my favorite drink with my wife drink.

Knob Creek Bourbon over ice for late night sipping

Knob Creek maple rye is unreal. Never turn one of these down no matter what.

I have been drinking plenty of craft beer lately. Local places in Ohio are making some good stuff and very strong 10-12%.

New boat drink is the canned Crown Royal drinks, Washington Apple and Peach Tea.

With cooler weather approaching, its back to bourbon and ice.....lol. Maybe turn it into an Old Fashion or Manhattan

Among non-alcoholic drinks it is Americano with milk, I can't live a day without it. As for alcoholic beverages, most often it is beer, preferably unfiltered, like Hoegaarden, and of strong drinks I prefer gin or bourbon.

New secret cocktail.

This was just invited to compete in a Las Vegas competition Oct 29th.

Happened to be at the bar and watched what went in it. They were tweaking it and drank 3 last night, so good.

1 part bulliet rye
.5 part beam apple
.5 part roses sour
Top with a splash of ginger beer.

Garnish with lime peel and cocktail cherry

Personally I find it very refreshing and could drink these all day on the boat.

If anyone here has had a monkeypod Mai Tai, I had to recreate it.

If you have had one, you know how good they are, I have to say the one I made here is even better based on using better rums than monkeypod. I also prefer Grand Marnier over orange curaçao.

You need a whip cream charger and nitrous oxide to make the passion fruit foam, for a 500ml charger use 2 8gram whip it’s, but my God are these amazingly good. Recipe below…..

Is the foam being separate what sets the drink apart vs. doing an egg white shake?
Or, could you get a similar experience from just shaking all together?

The mai tai is pretty basic no matter where you go in Hawaii, rum blend, lime, nut based orgeat but yes, the lilikoi foam makes it next level. Don’t use a straw to drink it, it’s designed to sip it through the foam.

I will say the Mai tai at Mamas Fish house is probably my favorite, but the monkeypod is far more “mixologist”.

Mai Tai is a Hawaiian Margarita
