Today was it for 2011. Put the boat on the trailer late this afternoon after an invigorating ride and an oil & filter change. Tomorrow the other fluids, wash, wax and a good interior cleaning. Then, off to Atlanta Marine for winterization and finally to the storage unit for a short winter nap.

Had the lake to ourselves today.

Water was right around 55 F. Air about the same, but it was a nice, sunny day and it was a great day to be on the water.

Dang, you got me missing the water now. I'm usually OK through the holidays but start getting really itchy in mid Feb. We'll see if I get out by Feb. 28 again next year. Where are the pics of A & JJ surfing??????

Where are the pics of A & JJ surfing??????

A had a cup of coffee in her hand while driving and just kept shaking her head at me with that, "I married an IDIOT" look on her face. T & JJ heard that we were going to the lake to do a little work and quickly found plans to stay the weekend with their Grandma.

You're welcome to come on out anytime you want.

This was a real quick trip as I got home from Dallas, TX late Friday night and we were 100 mph on Sat getting trailers prepped, sea doo out, etc. I only got 1 long set in and my friend about 3. My motivation for staying warm was obviously greater than his. Unfortunately, the sun went down way too fast.

Yep & I'd have even bought you a Chik-fil-A sandwhich! I know you have more important things to get back to MS for, but let me know if you get stranded in the ATL.

The sun finally came out so I hooked up the boat and shot some video. I called on my wingman Chad and Dusty but they said it was too cold. Shuda went. lol. Jet

My girl has been talking about taking a break from boating since like late October. She said I am obsessed because I keep checking lake levels and rain forecasts and talking about what I want to do to the boat this winter for next summer. She said she was looking forward to the holidays to get a break from boating stuff but now says its not even like a real break because its all I talk about so I do not think I will be contributing to the Dec picture thread

Keep your mouth shut for a couple months and let her recharge. Talk about decorations and lights and gifts and stuff.

Nice find Jet!

I guess they don't need life jackets, got their own floaties.

RD - good luck keeping quiet. Ha! Has she started calling your boat "the other woman" or "your mistress" or ??

She doesnt do that but she does claim that the boat take priority over her, which is simply not true. and i try to not talk about it too much, its just the only thing i really have to talk about haha.

RD - I tell my wife that Moombas aren't such a bad vice and an alternative could be the shoe shows. There are quite a few nice ones in the ATL, so I've heard . . .

Fierah has been the other woman, mistress, my one love, my main squeeze, i have herd it all LOL. The thing is once we put her away i dont talk about boating or anything from Oct till Jan when the boat show comes. Then im pretty quite except upgrades from Feb to April.

By then Claudia is itching for some nice weather so she can enjoy the boat.

The problem is Dave your passonient about your boat and your woman likes the boat. It would be no different then if she constantly talked and wanted to go shopping, you would get sick of it too bro.

As for the talking about the weather and Lake levels, look and read and surf, just shut your trap LOL

I try not to talk about it but I just don't know what else to talk about lol. But I will try my hardest to not bring it up. im going to zip it

Pam has reservations about. she def does not enjoy the boat as much as she used to. Heck, I had such a hard time this year getting her to go, I spent alot of the summer on my CBR600RR up in the mountains and over at Deal's Gap

Went out yesterday and the water 50 and air was 55. I was a bit rusty and this was the result of catching edge on a tantrum attempt. Both boots broke like this at the same time and the right one broke free of the mounting hardware altogether but the hardware was still tight as could be. Thinkin about going out on christmas eve day hopefully i can snap a couple pics.

bzubke1

It honestly wasn't that bad but that could be because the boots ripped instead of whipping my head into the water.

Hey outback is your drysuit really tight around the neck seal? I just got one used and the neck seal is so tight it's uncomfortable and makes me a bit lightheaded and its hard to enjoy my time on the water.
