Going to be very interesting to see what influences Shane will have with Moomba. Cant wait to see whats in store for 2013 and maybe 2014 SC boats. I'm sure we are going to see some very nice interior improvements and some innovation Moomba has been catching up on.

is this the same shane stillman that just joined mb back in june of '11?

if so, kind of a short stint there.

Yup, same Shane. SC has just stepped up their game just by hiring him. Going to be good changes in SC's future. He did great things with Axis and MB.

He did great things with Axis and MB.

It would appear that he was only at mb for 6 months. not much you can do in a large company making high end products in 6 months. 3 months to learn the operation, and the last month getting out :) I would seriously question his impact into that company with 2-4 months of "real work" within their organization, and clearly to leave at such an early stage, there was a reason..
I don't know anything about his involvement with axis and certainly don't want to turn this into another axis vs moomba thread so we'll see how he is involved in skiers future and leave it at that :)

it will be nice to have a skiers rep out here in the western region. a boat company is only as successful as the dealer network, and having that contact in the western region should help both dealers and customers/potential customers alike...

hope he ends up frequenting the boards here. some forget that a successful business is not only about building new customers, but taking care of the ones you already have. some inside nuggets of information tossed about periodically would be nice :)

Dream job. I would LOVE nothing more than to have a career change and wind up at a company like SC.

dunno about that ^^

someone told me a long time ago that when you have a hobby/passion/love and end up landing a job in the same field, it is now work and no longer a hobby/passion/love.

^^ Maybe, but I'd LOVE to test that theory!

I'll bet it wasn't a guy like Kelly Slater or Parks Bonifay.

I used to love working on cars until I got a job as a service tech for cadillac. I now work in the oil field and still have trouble being motivated to work on cars...

I used to be a radar air traffic controller and always hated video games.
