Okay, being a newbie to college football I did not realize that tonight ESPN would announce the BCS national championship game team selections. So, my poll on that topic about two hours ago instantly becomes dated and pretty useless. So, am changing the focus with a poll on the Hesiman trophy candidates. If I am correct, there are nine. I vote for Trent Richardson, but that's just because he plays for Alabama and I'm partial. Sure would like to see how others feel abut this, so please vote. Thanks!

RG III from Baylor. I may be biased because he plays for a central TX NCAA team and played high school ball in the next town over

As long as no one from the SEC or UT wins it I don't care. I hate baylor almost as much as I hate UT so RG III winning wouldn't make me happy

I voted for Kellen Moore just because he is a local folk from a small country town.

Richardson is the most complete RB I have seen in decades. I thought he was better than Ingram 2 years ago and he certainly is now. On the other hand, Luck is the real deal and even though I have no love for Stanford I really like watching him play. Moore is pretty good but it's the level of competition thing all over. I think Luck is going to win it.

Well, tonight is the announcement. We have a three-way (Luck, Ball, Moore) tie here on the poll. Will put up a final post tonight with the name of the Heisman winner.

Surprising as I thought they would give the "career achievement" & "skip the draft" points to Luck.

haha, how much you think Luck hates that decision now, whoops!!
