I think they are smoking somthing or someone was skipping all the way to the bank because I do not see 15K in stereo equipment unless there is a sub under each seat and 2 amps to each speaker. Shoot you can get an Exile total tower system for under 3K and that is a lot of speakers on the tower.

someone needs spellcheck on that ad...

although I have not personally been in an epic and most say that the wake may be one of the best on the lake, however the nose on those boats is horrible..
tend to agree with jester on the stereo call-out as well. perhaps they paid full msrp and got dinked on the install price :)

I think the 15k is coming from all of the transom speakers as well. Those, coupled with the tower set up, probably 2 subs, and a slew of amps would get you up there pretty far.

You guys should have seen the Malibu LSV a while back in Austin, Tx that had $45k (including custom billet with backlit LEDs) in stereo and LED lighting. I believe the guy even had a smoke machine for added effect on the lighting. Not that hard to rack up stereo cost

That last pic is hilarious, surprised someone on the dock is not running with the fire extinguisher!

Totally what I was thinking. Or the popo rolling up behind him.

Would be kinda funny though to cruise past a busy marina or beach some night a lil ways out with it all lit up and smoking. See how many people freak out.

Epic had that boat for sale for $55,000 at the dallas boat show. I've seen it a bunch of times cause the vp of sales for epic lives less that a mile from me. I see him towing new epics past the house from time to time.

Neoprene seats sound like a terrible idea...

I can totaly see 15K worth of stereo because your not even factoring the Labor to install it all, plus if he is a reg guy and not affliated to the stereo shop then hes paying retail for that custom work.

Agreed. Huge cost in build, install, product etc. $15k comes quick

my vision isn't what it used to be, but the speakers on the transom look factory? no??

I know that the epic comes with like 8 speakers on the transom on almost every boat they make. almost looks like the guy just added tower speakers? we all know that no one ever stretches the value of things they are trying to sell on craigslist ever.. right... ;)

I saw the "for sale" ad for that Malibu. I believe it was an '08-'09 LSV and the guy listed every stereo component to include 11 Alpine amps, 13 batteries, and either 4 or 5 woofers (I'm thinking 5 cuz it was a weird number to me). The boat was totally useless for storage or boarding (except for stereo ballast...lol). Boat was listed for $69,000 back in 2010.
