I want to get new rims and tires, but what size?? I have 15x7.5 4.5`s. Im thinking 16" but what is the inset?? And is this a good choice? What do you think? Jet

Whatever you go with make sure you test fit for backspacing on the axle with brakes if you have a tandem. My spare I just picked up this summer is an identical wheel in white, minus a fraction of an inch I found out... Just enough to rub on the brake calipers when mounted so I had to pick up a shim/spacer to carry along in case I ever need to use it on my axle with the brakes.

You might want to contact Boatmate directly (or whoever your trailer brand is) and ask them what the backspacing should be on the wheels. It should be pretty common as most of the wheels are fairly universal in size(s) and bolt pattern(s) for trailers.

Yes true, but my wheels now aren't factory trailer rims and Im going with something like a car rim now which all seem to be inset pretty far. I want to buy online but dont know what inset would be correct? Im sure in the middle somewhere would be fine but I dont want to ship and then find I have a problem.

What size did you decide to go with? Those rims look good!

16 rimx8.0 and a 215x60x16 tire. The offset is 0-18. Not happy with discount tire spending 30 mlns TELLING what I need rather than asking. Then after i told them what I wanted, then they said you cant put a 16 rim on a trailer, no one does that. Dorks
