Hey all, I'd appreciate it a lot if a bunch of you could take this survey I've put together for my marketing research class. It's about trucks! Thanks!

i like surveys, and do quite a few of them. only suggestion i have for ya is to clarify which truck you want responses for, as some of us are lucky enough to own more than 1...

Why is the University of Missouri's logo "MU" instead of "UM?"

Yeah, little tricky with multiple questions within a question. I currently own GM but am planning to buy Ford or Dodge. Hmmm...

zabooda, I have no idea, it bugs the heck out of me.

Thanks for the input guys

That was a blast. Sample answers:

Some words you think of when you hear "green vehicles":

liberal, sissy, lies, that idiot Al Gore, fake science, gun control

Words you think of when you hear V-6:

wife, daughter, niece, Buick

Words you think of when you hear V-8:

muscle, work, dual exhaust, reliable

Words you think of when you hear "Econoboost":

fairy tale, expensive, ethanol

fake science

LOL! I believe that is an oxymoron.

When I think of econoboost I'm thinking of a device that latches onto the vehicle in front of you.

econoboost? is there such a word? sounds like something some pitchman should be selling to those with insomnia..

now ecoboost is a different story. couple years ago it was nonexistent, now it's all over the trucking world..

kane, glad I could provide some entertainment for you! Yourself and multiple others have been providing me with entertainment as I read all the results.

Also, I just ran across this article on Ecoboosts, thought it was interesting: http://blogs.wsj.com/drivers-seat/2011/10/13/ford-raises-sales-forecasts-for-ecoboost-f-150s/?mod=wsj_share_twitter

Keep taking the above survey! Thanks!

If I had an extra 35k laying around I'd pick me up a new ecoboost fx4

I don't remember which rag, but one of them pitted 4 different Ford trucks against each other with a big gas engine, little gas engine, EcoBoost, and big deisel. Ecoboost looked great by the numbers. Since I was in some sort of dr. office, I didn't get a chance for the full read...

My dad gives me a hard time for owning a Chevy since he retired from Ford truck plant. May have to look at Ford??

Did you buy Dusty's truck or just the same style wheels?

I'll warn you, as I did him, to watch out for Chuck Norris. Walker Texas Ranger is gonna be pissed that you done stole his badges to put on your wheels!

Buddy of mine got a 2011 F150 Crew 4x4 Lariat Ecoboost for Christmas from his wife. Jet black, all leather, loaded, etc. Had 150 miles on it. He has a 23' Bu Wakesetter. I'll be curious how it is to drive and how it tows. Have to report back on it! (lucky bastid)

D Max in time bro keep that one a couple years then get your self a nice loaded used D Max with 25k for 40k that's the smart way to go.

Just remember having a Diesel is like having a wakeboat, there's always upgrades you want to do. Always some project to add to her and when it's maintenance time she demands attention lol

But like ive said before I'll never own a gas truck again. Diesels make so much power, pull so well, and hey it's cool saying Got Diesel? Lol

You could always name her Snarky lol
