I picked up my XLV 2004 from the dealer it was winterzied and had the fluids changed. I checked the V-drive oil at home and it looked like honey with a pink tint. Here is a picture of the v-drive oil. What would cause the oil to look like this.12704

Looks like some tranny fluid in there, but it looks milky as well, like there is a leak in the cooling chamber. I would take it right back and ask for an explanation. If there was water in the oil before the change it should have been caught when the old oil was removed. Curious as to their response. Why did you check it at home? Did you check it before you took it to them as well? What prompted you to drain it out of the vdrive, and since you could why didn't you just change it yourself? This post looks a little peculiar?????

I wonder if they put the wrong fluids in the wrong place? The ATF is red/pink. Did you check your ATF out to see if it by chance looks like v-drive oil (or mixed)?
