I need to get a final count on the lights. I figured I'd start a new thread so it will get everyone up to date. If you have questions about the lights please post in the other thread here https://forum.moomba.com/showthread.php?16547-Transom-LED-Group-Buy.

Please specify Color, quantity, and spot or flood.

Flood is a wide short pattern, spot is a long narrow pattern. Both installs I did in the original thread were floods.

Sorry this is a little redundant, and you may have already posted what you wanted but please repost here so I can make the final arrangements and get the price set.

I'll be closing the group buy Sunday Oct 30th.

2 blue floods for me.

I forget how we do this; send you the cash, or is it like a discount code on the website? I'm leaving on our honeymoon on Friday, so let me know and I'll do it ASAP.

Definitely not selling the boat any time soon. Only way that will happen is if I'm buying something newer and bigger :)

Sorry about the delay. I wanted to be in but haven't had time to take measurements. Also think I'm going to hold onto the money to put towards stereo upgrades.

Sorry newty

How LED's are in each light. I'm debating on 2 of them. Don't know if I need 2 of these or 1 of the more pricey other brands like Abyss.

YDM, there are 4 led's in eash light. I think the way the glass is in the housing is what makes such a dramatic difference. the glass focuses and amplifies the light. I think you would be very happy with 2 floods.

Mine didn't... package NAZI... I went to the UPS pick-up center and got it. It feels heavier and beefier than I expected! Me Likey! The plan is to wire it into my courtesy light switch where the cabin LED's are wired. Someone say something if that is a mistake!!!

newty
11-15-2011, 04:35 PM
That will work! I wired mine to my docking lights. The only thing is you may want to run the light with out the courtesy lights on. Maybe wire them directly to the courtesy switch and then tap in the courtesy lights with another switch to the powered side of the main light switch. So anytime you flip the switch the transome lights come on and also energizes the switch to the courtesy lights. You can choose to leave them on or off. Make sense?
