Speaker Size

Can someone please tell me what the dimensions of the speakers inside the boats we all own? I just guessed when I impulsively bought 6 new ones. Boat is a Mobius LSV '05

I think they are 6 1/2" standard speakers.

Yes, they are all 6 1/2. But as I learned each different brand speaker has diffrent predrilled holes sizes. I had to take speakers back to boatersworld 6 times till I finally found a pair that would match the existing drilled holes. It was a pain because I had one pair (4 total) that had a much better sound but didn't fit correct.

Doug, several speaker places sell brackets for speakers trying to fit pre-existing holes, for example, in my mustang, replaced factory door speakers with alpine type R's, same size and all, different hole pattern, bought a bracket with the correct hole patterns, worked like a charm. hope that helps.
