Well the wind stayed away so even though it was freezing we went for one last ride today. I decided to take some pics while riding. They turned out ok. here are a few. The view from these pictures is one of my favorites! I am really going to miss the moomba. 6 long months.

No, actually its an Olympus 14MP waterproof camera. I have a go pro but the pics are very very wide. Thought i'd try this out and it worked pretty good.

Wish I could have done the same. I put my boat away a couple of days ago, and go figure, it was a decent day. I took the day off and there was no one available to spot or drive.

Beautiful last ride, if in fact it was the last ride of the season!

I am very envious! I haven't been able to get a quorum for boating since early September. Boat goes in for storage tomorrow morning.

Thanks a lot guys. We have a pretty big lake for our area (9 miles long 2 miles wide) and from June to September is always really busy on weekends, and often weekdays too. Unrideable after 10am or 11am on weekends actually. But in Early Spring or Late Fall the water can be amazing. It is just awesome to be the ONLY boat on the entire lake. I will even admit to feeling bad about disturbing the perfect calmness... but only for second. I feel pretty lucky to live so close to such a great lake.

oh ya finished off my last run of the year landing a Scarecrow at the end, something I have only landed once before. It was a great end to the year.

What are you using for gloves? Looks like you are using surgical gloves...(If anyone has any other opinions about WB gloves for cold weather send me a pm). The guys I ride with use aqua lung aleutians, but they are pretty pricey (especially this late in the season) Digging those pictures though!
