Going to be storing the boat (shrink wrapped) in the next few weeks. Want to clean it up as good as I can before we do that. Carpet is still went in rear lockers and in main area of boat from less sunshine these past few weeks. I am going to vacuum as much as I can with a wet/dry vac but I want to spray the carpets with something to prevent mold/mildew and a bad smell from forming over winter.
What do you guys use to prevent this?

Can you run a heater and fan in the lockers to dry them out? Some plastic tubs with kitty litter will help absorb moisture out of the air while stored.

I would recommend a few 36" Goldenrods, I know I'll be using 'em.

used cat litter last winter; worked great. Just leave a few open containers of it in there. Mine just had a cover over it, no shrink wrap...
