Add a light to the wake board hook

This is more of a verification question, but I am wondering if anyone has tried it. Has anyone put a replacement navigation light onto the nub which you put the wake board rope on? I took the screw out, and it looks like the hole it does not go down. I was hoping to put something like this:

I don't believe anyone on this forum has done that but I do recall it being done a few times on WakeWorld site. Shouldn't be a problem regardless.

This one from Innovative Lighting (http://store.innovativelight.com/all-round-led-ski-light_p_1473_11562_4.cfm) is much nicer looking and will blend into the tow point better.

Looks good but how would you wire it? I ended up adding a fixed mount light a few inches in front of my tow point on the tower. I couldn't run wire down through the tow point and I didn't want a battery powered one that I'd have to reach up and switch on and off.
