Ive only had the boat out on the water test with the dealer, but Ill raise the issue anyway. On the test the steering wheel, when turning somewhat quickly made a funny noise just to the right side of center. We noticed it the most when going in the no wake channel, moving the wheel back and forth. Anybody know what this is, or if its a normal thing, or should I have them look at it more... Dealership salesman didnt seem too concerned...

The noise could have been the steering wheel rubbing against the wake plate trim lever . You would probably only here it going slow. It is a tight fit but I just bent my lever base a little away from the steering wheel base and that seem to fix the problem. What does the noise sound like?

Be sure to check the rubber boot that covers the helm, it may have come loose and rub on the steering wheel hub. If you can not get the boot properly seated, be sure to bring it to your dealers attn. at your next service. This may not be your your issue, but something else to check. Either way, voice your concerns at your next service, there may also be no issues at hand. Brian Raymond

The noise is not real loud, but you know its there and you can feel it too. Its hard to describe what it sound like other than its a noticable "click" in the rotation.
