had to sell my last machine to get into the house, but knew I'd get another one next year. found a deal on an '09 holdover, .1 miles at delivery and 26% off msrp sold me.... 2009 kawi zx6r. had to driver 240 miles one way to pick her up and guy was nice enough to interrupt his labor day weekend to open the shop and do the deal. very stoked again....
hoping to park the tow beast and average 1500miles/year or less now...

our agreement with the last boat purchase was to never bring up a bike purchase again.

Stay safe

Fun ride there SandM! I'm probably done with street bikes for good after a couple close calls with the classic blue hair behind the wheel of a caddie years ago. Maybe go back to dirt bikes again though now that the kids are old enough.

Let the speeding tickets begin - ha ha!

I think you have to be nuts to ride a bike in traffic. Way more idiots on the road than on the lake. We stick with off road only. Sure like looking at all kinds of bikes though.

Nice bike. Been commuting by bike for years now ('07 Yamaha FZ6). Watch for cars, 'cuz they sure don't watch for you! If you ride in town a lot, I'd recommend a louder exhaust. I went from being cut off/merged into once very week or 2 to about 2-3 times per year!

no stranger to the world of cars. been riding for 5 years and had several close calls, mostly on the interstate with people merging and not seeing you. the best thing I can say is having owned a bike, it heightens all your driving senses. has made me more aware when in a car as well.

we have several canyons less than 15 minutes from front door and work to carve up. that's where the fun is :)
almost settled on a more docile commuter like the fz6/8 or a speed triple, but something about a pure sport bike...
night and day from my tgb laser150 scooter that's the grocery getter...
