super easy to install board while standing on the sundeck

boards fit under the bimini with no issues

swivel is super easy to use-no pins to pull, just a little lever to pull, they will lock in 3 different places

Very happy with them

I'm surprised to only see 2 Exiles...for some reason, I thought you had 4

I do have 4-the other 2 are sitting in the garage right now.

Looks great! I like the black... any more pics of how they look on the boat with no boards in them? How tight is the locking mechanism?

Dan, I'll get you some more photo's as soon as I get the boat back out of the garage, with the tower down the angle looks really strange. I think they lock tight-as much play/tightness the factory swivel racks have anyway

Those look great. It's nice they can be rotated inside the boat, great for owners with freestanding boat lifts where width can be an issue.

I like the black.

Do you have dings or issues with the handmade boards being stored in those racks?

Moombadaze,

Were these the racks you had on this tower? 2.5"???
I want to make sure they will fit my 08LSV before buying them...

I have the same on my '08 LS, they are great, I used them most of last Summer with no issues at all and no damage to boards.

Thanks chawk! I was just worried the tower wouldn't sit flush into the brackets, but if it worked for you and you've had no issues then I'm gonna jump on this deal!!!

Hey just to make sure were talking bout the same rack... I called Monster Tower and they said this swivel rack only comes in 2.5" and you guys say it WILL fit on our 2 3/8 towers!?!?

Just want to make sure because this deal is non-returnable...
Thanks

Update: I called back and she said they used to sell the 2 3/8, but only have the 2.5 left so guess this is going to be a no go.... :(

I think you can use a rubber gasket to fill in the gap and make them work

Yeaaaa that's what I'm thinking I might try cuz everywhere I look it still seems cheaper to buy 2 of these over 1 at regular price 😉 from some other sites

Yes, I shimmed them with 1/8" rubber shims.

I used rubber to shim rack... works great. I have a 2 3/8" tower.

Stupid question - has anyone used these racks in addition to the original factory ones? I'd love to get two of these racks, for the price it's a hell of a deal, but I would still need a rack to put another board in (typically go out with 5 boards). I am getting tired of having to always stow one. I am curious if these will play nice with the original facotry ones. I'm thinking you might be able to move the factory ones up a 'rung' but was curious about clearance.

Not sure exactly what you're going for here other then one more rack, but just to make sure you know these racks they are selling are wakeboard/Surfboard racks (thin/thick ones)

Also, if you leave your regular racks on the oval "Moomba" bar you could just mount these swivel racks lower on the tower so that they swing out UNDER your other rack.... Just a thought

Oh, I know exactly what they are, and want them because they are wake+surf racks. I don't want to mount them too much lower than Daze shows his being mounted because I want them higher than eye level when they are swiveled out. So, the question is, with them mounted where Daze has them, would the factory racks still be usable in either the original spot or one rung higher on the tower.

you'll have to remount the factory racks to the higher cross bar, think I had them that way for one day

Thanks Daze, I think I saw a photo today of a similar setup to what I am looking for, and it looked like it worked out okay. They are on order so I'll figure it out. Thanks!!
