I'm STOKED for next weekend!!! All day on the lake on Labor Day w/ my new (to me) CWB Ride and another 1200# of ballast :)

I sold the 370# out of my locker and am installing a 750#. Probably try replacing the 250# mid-right w/ a 750# and see what happens, otherwise i"ll put it left rear. Ready for an easier board and spend some time w/o a rope in my hand, & tweaking my ballast while the kids surf.

Woohoo! Lol.

Im with you Ryan, got the 1100s installed just need to dial this new wave in a bit and i got 2 surf boards to demo all weekend. We plan to head up to LBC again for the long weekend. Im still trying to pull a crew together for the next couple days though. Claudia has been using this lack of crew to plug for Kids. Shes like if we had a couple little ones we wouldnt need a crew anylonger LOL.

Me too! lol.

And yes, pics for sure, so long as we don't forget the camera again... Plan on spending most of Monday surfing, the tubing. I might have a couple that want to kneeboard or wakeboard, but I'll try getting them surfing instead this time ;) I'd really like to try getting my ballast set-up/placement dialed in.\

It isn't for everyone, that is for sure. And there are definitly crazy moments, but as far as out of control, that's pretty much in how you raise them. You can ask moombadaze, wolfman131, or kaneboats and I believe they'll tell you my kids were never out of control. yeah, I'm sure i"m aging quickly, esp since my oldest just got his driver's permit! We just got him a streetbike, & it is really awesome having him to go ride with :) All my sons ride dirtbikes with me,a dn my oldest daughteris abou to start before too long too. That are SO many things that you can do with your own kids that are WAY more meaningful/fun than doing with a friend.

back on topic ;) , I thnk I have them all convinced to leave everything home except the surfboard and tube! WooHoo!

finally go the eBayer to respond; turns out he's in CT and was affected by the hurricane . He shipped itout before it hit though, and he said he tracked it and it is supposed to be here tomorrow...Cutting it close! 2 750's should arrive today. :)

Rode all day Sat. on the XXX, due to the new board not arriving Friday as I was told it would :(

had a great day though, and did better on the XXX with the bigger wake. Lovin' all the ballast and options now...Now to figure it all out, as I was having a big of problem with wash at surf speeds, and there was a very small window that it would clean up in. Next time I'll have the locker and right rear sacs completely empty (only had 50-100# in each of them).

I was even able to surf w/o the handle a little ways with my daughter on iwth me. She was frustrated 'cuz I held the handle as long as i did, but it was kinda rouigh and loosing the wave at times. lol.

uuggg... Excitement definitely over :(

Board arrived last Thursday, as a piece of scrap. Not only had the eBayer been lying about shipping it (shipping label said shipped 9/6!), they didn't package it well and it spent days bouncing around on the tail of the board and it is now split :( So, I've emailed the eBayer and submitted a claim with FedEx...We'll see... Also, I found a crack about 2 inches long on the bottom near a side, which looks like it is standing taller around the crack than the rest of the bottom of the board...Looks to me like it was cracked and used and started absorbing water :(

Hoping i get my money back and can throw some gelcoat repair on it and use it for a season or 2?

Sorry for not posting pics. I'll try to remember to do it tonight at home...

Claudia has been using this lack of crew to plug for Kids. Shes like if we had a couple little ones we wouldnt need a crew anylonger LOL.

we have 4 kids, and 2 of them are my best drivers, 1 does like to drive, she like to be bow candy, and the other is 7 so he is a bit young still.

agree with the other things, kids are how you raise them hope the weekend was a success. we had to run a marathon on monday, then we got out in the afternoon for a ride with friends. i tried to ride, but the legs did not move the way i thought they would.

eBay purchases have gone 50/50 for me. Sorry for your bad luck. I was just cleaning up the basement this past weekend and found 2 carbs I had purchased for the girls 4 wheelers. They weren't even close to being the right ones and the seller wouldn't respond to any of my messages.

I've been trying to cut carbs. They stick around my middle. Go with fuel injection instead.

Lol. I've used eBay to resolve conflicts in the past. Don't be afraid to open a case against someone if they won't respond. If they want to keep doing business on eBay, they'll get back with ya. If not, eBay will refund your money. My rating is in the 70's, which doesn't include a store I used to have, and I've only had about 4 or 5 experiences that were unsatisfactory. Unfortunately, most of them have been the bigger expense items :(

In my situation, I've opened a case with FedEx and emailed the dealer of the board directly. I'm not going to pursue him too much until I find out what FedEx is going to do. Hopefully that'll be this week...

That split looks old to me... no way this guy should get away with that... leave scathing feedback if nothing else... heck, post his ebay account info, I will leave bad feedback as well!!! :)

Man... I looked a the start date of this thread, and just wanna cry (good thing I'm too manly for that...my co-workers would think something is really wrong ;) )

I agree chawk610. Esp. as I still have no resolution on this ! Uugghhh... FedEx replied and said they'll approve it as soon as they get a "shipper waiver" from the person who shipped it. I requested this from them and havn't received a confirmation that they did it yet...

I still don't know what FedEx is going to pay me either, as the idiot who shipped it only declared the value as $100, and I paid $140... You can bet I'll be going after the seller for any difference from what FedEx reimburses. In the mean time, I'm going to dig out my boat gelcoat repair kit and go-to-town fixing the thing...Hopefully start working on it Sat...

still trying to get refunded... FedEx agreed to pay me, but i need a shipping waiver from the shipper... The guy who supposedly ownes this marina said he fired the guy who handles his ebay stuff, so he can't get the signature.... BUT, the guy's name on the shipping label is an entirely different name!?! I HATE getting the run-around, and just want my money back!?!

Anyways, I started the repair, and kinda uglied it up a little more than I should've (live & learn, practice makes perfect, etc.), but it'll work... I'll post up my repaired pics this weekend when I finish sanding and polishing.

still waiting for cash, but here's the pics of my repair. Doesn't look the greatest, but it is nice and smooth and should work great.
