Swimdeck screws into hull loose, can't tighten anymore

Anyone experience this or know of a fix. I am aware of the slop in the bracketry of the swim deck but it is also compounded to the fact that the screws on the bottom of the bracket that attaches to the hull pull out about a centemeter :o

Any advise is appreciated.

Amateur suggestion would be to fill the hole with epoxy.

You may want to hear from others before you tackle it.
