I'm selling my 2000 Moomba Outback Direct Drive. 386 pampered hours. $15,000.
This boat has been the PERFECT family crossover boat. It lays down a perfect slalom wake for me at 36 mph, but it throws a great wake for the kids on their boards with the fat sacks in the back.
This one is as close to perfect as any 2000 model you'll find anywhere.
Cosmetically - Forest green & cream gelcoat and interior.....added a custom color bimini top this year from Big Air Biminis.......custom made African Cypo wood swim platform ( I still have the fiberglass one).....factory wakeboard tower with one 2-board rack.....stereo with iPod plug.....color-matched Boatmate single axle trailer with new tires and spare.....blah blah blah. I wax it twice a year with airplane wax....the guy I got it from used to shrink-wrap it every winter. Seats have a few small knicks and cracks in them.....I'm a perfectionist, so I will recover them this winter if I still have the boat. Most people would let them go five more years the way they look. Carpet is in good shape.
Mechanically - 386 hours. She's got the 310 hp Indmar coupled to the direct drive transmission. It's got plenty of power.....we pulled six up on skis behind her last weekend.
I put in a new starter and water pump the beginning of this year.....they were 10 years old, so I replaced them. I'll put a new bilge pump in this winter for the same reason if I still have her. Very reliable, never had any problems.
It's a great boat, and I've got mixed emotions about selling it. I'm just kind of wanting to upgrade to a bigger and badder Moomba XLV that a friend of mine wants to sell.
Email me.... [email protected] ..... if you have questions or want to see her. I'm in Hoover, Alabama.....just south of Birmingham.
Thanks!
