Hi everyone. I have just purchased a 2004 Moomba outback LS and can't figure it out where to conect my garden hose. I purchased the boat on auction and don't have any manuals or instructions from the previous owner. I want to try the engine in front of my garage first. Thank a lot for your reply!!!

You will need to buy a fake-a-lake or a clone. Basically a plunger with a water connection and an extendable pole. It wedges between the boat and the ground over he sea water intake grate under the boat.

Or.... You could ad a perko flush kit. I don't have one so I cannot comment on the quality of that unit or how well it works.

I just built one myself. I was pointed to this thread:

Go to Moomba.com and under "About Moomba" you will find "Archives" which will allow you to find the owner's manual for your boat. Or, use the link below:

Have fun with your new toy & post up some pics!

The engine owners manual is also available on Indmar's website. It has more engine specific information.

The Perko flush kit is the way to go.....they work great.

If the boat has a water strainer you can pull that hose off and stick a hose in and run that way. We just put a flush kit using a plastic fitting and high pressure hose and it runs about $200 installed, fake a lake is a cheaper option.
