Just wondering if any 2011 LSV owners notice the boat comes out of the hole slow when ballast is full.
I looked at my prop, looks like a 14 when my old LSV had a 13x13.75 .

Did Moomba miss the boat and put too big of a prop on the 2011 LSV's?

I have the same problem with mine. It is VERY slow to plane out with full bags around and a few folks. The only way i can get it to plane out is if i take off with the wake plate all the way down. I am going to show this to my dealer when i take it in for the 20 hr service. They are going to do something about this. I think it is a prop issue. These boats should come out to plane even with full ballast. Let me know if you figure anything out so i have some more ammo when i go for service. Also do you have any problems when towing a tube about 20-25mph and go into a tight turn. Mine will feel like the prop slips on occasion.

Haven't pulled any tubes yet - I live in Bismarck, ND this summer has been a dud since the missouri river flooded and has remained above flood stage all summer. They imposed a No Wake law for the river! My 2011 LSV now has 6.2 hours on it! I guess I will have a new boat for next year as well!

i believe it is a prop issue, like I said my 2004 shot out of the hole with 3 bags full and people on the boat! I am going to have to get the dealer involved!

My 2010 is a bit slow as well. With full ballast and 5 or 6 people it can take a long time to plane. They must size the prop to fit the most amount of needs....A new prop is on the horizon. Yes, I hate to say, I've pulled many a tubes this summer and yes, in tight turnes it sometimes feels as if it's cavitating. We love the boat it, just needs the correct prop. Even for surfing it could use a boost. Of course, I'm used to driving a 89 MC that took off like it was shot out of a cannon.

Where's your dealer up there? My wife was just there yesterday taking our kid's to my dad's up in Williston.

Simple prop swap should do the trick. Check out the Acme 1433 if you want crazy hole shot and are OK with losing a few mph on the top end. Plenty of options in between too. I'd try to get in on the group buy and save yourself 25%!

think the boats are propped for all around use, not for heavy ballast. get a wakeboard prop and you'll be happy, but you wil loose a couple mph n top end-not a big deal for most

Mine was a slug as well.. put on the acme 1235..... the low end power out of the hole is insane.....

Did a 1433 swap 1 week after getting the boat. could not put up with the sub par hole shot. Like mentioned, even with 1200 lbs and passangers it pulls out no problem.

Picked my boat up from Atlanta Marine yesterday afternoon and we addressed the prop issue. I talked with Heidi and herself and a tech water tested our boat and settled on a Acme 1235. She told me it wasn't even the same boat with that prop. She told me to drop it in the water and take it for a ride my self but i didn't have time with the drive i expected on the way home due to our wonderful afternoon traffic here in Atlanta. So we are going to lake Saturday morning and i will let you guys know how it runs. BTW.. cost me $0 for the new prop they swapped it under warranty. So you guys with NEW boats may need to look into this...

Ok I am confused.

I thought there was trailer clearance issues with the 1235 and most were settling for the 1433?
I thought one would lose more top end with 1235 as to the 1433?

Mine has about 1"- 1 1/2" inches or so from the tip of the blade to the prop guard. I will post a picture. Will give speed info monday after we go to lake on Saturday

I thought it was the opposite. I thought people were going with the 1235 bc of clearance issues with the 1235. If the specs were right that someone posted, that doesn't make any sense, though.

1235 is 14.5 diameter, 1433 is 14 diameter, some have reported trailer clearance issues with the larger diameter 1235

Note sure which way you meant. :-) I was told that with the 1235(14.50x14.250) there were clearance issues with the Boatmate trailer.. and to use the 1433 (14.00x14.250). Someone correct me if wrong, but with the larger diameter (1235) would that not take away from the top end and add more to the bottom end.
