Well last Monday was a killer. We had 3 1/2 inches of downpour rain at 6 in the morning. Sun did peek out for a little bit so at 4:30 we decide we should go for a rip. Got 1/2 way to lake and started pourning hard. Turned around and went home. Backed the boat into the driveway and before I could put the truck in park - BANG!! 20 minutes of hard pounding rain followed by almost golf ball size hail! We couldn't even get out of the truck. When all was said and done we had 3 more inches of water mixed with 4 inches of hail! This is NOT what my Moomba is supposed to look like!
Thankfully only damge to Moomba is a couple small tears in upholstry. We won't even go into the damage to the yard, house, and garage!!!!

I hope this NEVER happens to anyone on here!

Holy Balls. We've seen some of that crazy weather here too but fortunately the Moomba has been in the garage for them!

WOW, lucky I'd say. That could have been so bad if you were still out in it.

Wow we've had some nasty storms but nothing that bad this year. Just be glad the windshield didn't shatter I hear they are a pain to get replaced.

Dang. Looks like you need to spend some quality time with your Moomba and cleanning.

Damage was worse than I originally thought? Went to lake last night and after being out in the warm weather when the kids were climbing in and out of boat all these small cuts and tears started showing up in the upholstry! :( So decided summer has been so poor I'm just going to use Tear Aid to patch and fix it until this winter when it will go in for some rework!

Oh what a frustrating summer it has been here in Canada!

My boat survived the tornado way better than that. Sorry to see that. I am getting a 30' X 40' shop built out of this deal. Boat ought to fit well in there.
