XLV surf wave

We bought our new boat about a month ago and just now finally feel like we are getting the wave dailed in really nice. Still tweaking a few things with postioning. We have replaced rear bags with 1100 and it made the biggest difference over the 750s. We fill surf side sac full and front 1100 sac full. I have a 540 that is maybe 3/4 filled under the observers seat. The last piece of the puzzle are the pop bags. We have 800 total to play with, we have about 580 along surf side and the rest on side seat behind drivers side.

When I had my XLV on the regular side I did 1100 rear, 1180 center full, two 400's on surf side (made an L-shape on surfside and rear seat), and extra 400lb sac in the bow with 300-400lbs in opposite side 1100. The wake was huge, too bad that's not my "regular" side so I never learned how to surf it heel side or switch. Try having 3 or 4 people move to the bow and see how it stretches the pocket. You'll lose height, but you should gain room to play with on the face of the wave.

Thats Eagle Mountain Lake in Fort Worth.

I have moved the pop sacs around so I have 400 lbs on each side of the boat evenly spaced from the rear seat all the way up to both sides of the boat.

We had that full set up with 10 people, mostly surfside, over the 4th of July and it was sick.
