It's the 3rd annual NWWSA Surf Competition at Lake Sammamish on July 29th-31st. Come see the pro riders, and all the cool people that come from all over the place to make the event.

We'll be hanging and surfing with James Walker on Friday and doing the float party and linking all the boats audio systems together on Saturday, good times. This is a great time for any boat, any brand, any crew.

Hope to seeya there.

Jeff and Judy gonna be there too?

Please tell the Walker family I said hello - and that Jeff's mother in law is still terrorizing Florida... stomping down buildings again. He will understand.

I think Jeff is going to be there as well. I'm looking forward to spending the weekend on the water. Last year, I think I tuned like 6 boats the first day. If anyone needs any help with their stereo, has questions, wants to drink a beer... I'll be smack in the middle of the float party. Hit me up.

Newty - you find a crew yet? Caravan leaves Friday Morning from Portland :)

I may have to attend this to see what its all about. Never been to this lake before though. I'm guessing my stereo would also just get laughed at here, but I can surf and drink some beer or whiskey :D

I'll see if I can round some people up that would want to go, hopefully the weather is good. Us NW'ers still have to cross our fingers in the summer for good weather.

I'm planning on going. Brian is going to try and hook us up with a surfing session with James Walker Friday afternoon. That would be sweet!

Talking to Newty some and going to see if I can make it as well, though not sure I could make it until Friday evening. Hopefully the weather will cooperate. Feels like about March around here this week. Never been to Sammamish either but looking forward to it.

Shoot if there is that many forum members going then I'll for sure make sure I'm there. Any place on the lake any of you would recommend launching from? I find I have issues at lakes with STEEP boat launches (trailer floats), parking is a must(crew cab/long bed+trailer), bathrooms for the ladies if #2 calls, etc.

I've never been on the lake (drove by it once) but there is a state park at the south end of the lake. I think that's where everyone launches from.

Okay, I'll look into it. I got some family in the area too, I'll hit them up and ask them as well, as I think some of them grew up between that lake and lake washington.

If you guys havent been to this this lake before its definitely worth the trip. Last year the outside temp was only 71 and the water temp was 74. The water is clean clear and super nice.

BB - note "run what you brung..." this is NOT a stereo competition. This is a good time fun time. Several of the Exile sponsored surfers will be about as they will have time in between runs. So hit me up and say hello. You'll see a lot of nice boats and nice stereos there. Ya might even see some swag! (but my lips are sealed).

Good people = Good times.

Cheers!

I had a great time at this event, minus the half shaved head fishing loser and his girlfriend causing problems with the law. Here are a few pics from the event on the Saturday. Third pic down we are all pretending to real in a monster fish mocking the punk fisher dude calling the cops. Was nice to meet fellow forum members including morgan040, Brian from Exile and his crew.
