Ballast Problems

Just got my boat in April and have had a few problems. Today the fitting on the ballast came off and water ran all over more storage. I thought I had it screwed back on, but at the end of the day it had come off again. I've never touched it or messed with it until today. Also the thing that holds up the compartment to my back ballast keeps falling off.

I had the same problem with one of the fill fittings on a back ballast all last year. Now, I'm having it with the opposite bag's empty fitting. After further inspection, the threads on both the bag and the part that unscrews have been cross threaded pretty badly on both bags. Unless the female part on the bag can be removed and replaced, I think I'm going to end up just gluing the removable piece to the bag.
