does your 02 outback have a depth finder. if so where exactly is the transducer placed in the transom. (what brand is yours)

i am thinking about in stalling this thing myself.

if anyone else has a outback give me your input.

Yes I do have a depthfinder. It is an Eagle brand. The transducer is bonded to the bottom of the hull with West System epoxy.It is located just about beneath the oil pan. It was installed by the dealer and works fine. I preset the alarm for 3' and haven't touched yet.

I am going to install mine this afternoon.

That was tough finding those screws in the carpet to remove the back panel behind the engine cover.
