I thought I would kick off July with this pic of the kids having a water gun fight.

My #5 who is 7 y/o finally agreed to give the wakeboard a shot. Here's a pic of her ready to try. We usually start with the surf rope then go to a longer line as the newb starts to get it.

Here's some vid of her first few attempts. She was up and now knows she can do it so I didn't push it.

Got out on the river yesterday - pretty rough but had a good time. Water was so high we had to carve out a shelf to setup some chairs on the beach.

Little vid of me on the first surf of 2011. I'm a little rusty! My 8yr old made a great throw trying to save me but I missed it.

Still got some work to do on dialing in the wave. Only the GF and kids in the boat and had lots of whitewash, wind, strong current, etc.

Not really, we mainly jammed his because my amps kept over heating and shutting off. Going to have to figure something out to remedy this. Not fun when the music just stops randomly

Won't be many riding pics for me this year with our lake levels being so low... In fact this picture is right after I got stuck on a sandbar (luckily while idleing).

Are those floating docks private or public? That's pretty cool with the deck up above. We see some of those that are just a floating porta potty in our neck of the woods, but nothing quite like that.

My buddy surfing for probably his 5th time ever-
http://i326.photobucket.com/albums/k414/grberglund/MoombaMobiusV/P1070696.jpg

The channel in to party cove- going through here always reminds me of a scene out of a movie where a bunch of gorillas or wild natives are hiding out lining the banks just waiting for the right moment to attack... There are 12-15ft cliff walls on either side.
http://i326.photobucket.com/albums/k414/grberglund/MoombaMobiusV/P1070690.jpg

Party cove - seemed more like a MC reunion. I counted roughly 20 boats and I think 12 of them were MC. Funny or maybe sad thing is we saw hardly any of them on the lake all day long. Then about 6pm there is a MC stampede and 8 or so of them go buzzing by all at once headed towards the marina. Seemed like a shame to have so many kickass boats just sitting around all day.

@Berger, it's public. The ramp is maybe 40 feet away, bout half in the middle. Park the trailer and walk down the ramp to the dock. Problem is most the time it's only good for one boat at a time and it has been known to cause issues a time or two in the past with some.

I actually like some members pics where their home lake looks like it has slips per say to pull your boat into while parking truck/trailer. That set up seems to look a lot more effective. Hadn't personally seen any like that so I may be talking out my arse

Holiday on Lanier?

I put in at Big Creek right around the corner. Takes me 30 seconds to get there from the end of my no wake zone to the start of the Holiday no wake zone.

Not the best part of the lake for a ski boat. Unless it's an X-80 which there are 3 or 4 I see on a regular basis right around Holiday.

Anyhow, nice pics man. You got some cool shots.

Because those are the best places to ride and relax. Clark creek is the greatest, we just sit back and relax and fish and the ride for a few hours.
