That's pretty interesting stuff, but there's something fishy about it all...

Utah, Colorado, and Montana all don't have one city included in the top 10 snowiest? But Flagstaff, AZ is on there with less than 100 in?
And somehow Hilo, Hawaii is the rainiest city per year at over 100 inches and Hawaii is one of the rainiest states with only 69 or something?

They have Tallahassee FL as one of the wettest. It does rain here frequently but usually not for very long as fronts pass right through. I wonder if there are general names used to describe more specific occurrences. Oh well, just interesting.

under most hail prone cites it has Dallas/Fort Worth, TX as number 5 and Arlington, TX as number 6. Arlington is IN Dallas/Forth Worth, in fact it is almost exactly half way between Dallas and Fort Worth..

I think they are talking about the weather readings at the airport.

I think its odd that the Windy City (aka: Chicago) isn't on the list of Windiest Cities!

The "windy city" got its name from politics, not weather.

I grew up in Flagstaff and can attest to those numbers. We had the deepest base in the nation one year at snow bowl.
