Hello all. Awesoem season so far except the starter on the boat is acting a little strange. First time out I went to crank er up and all there was was a click and then nothing. After trying different things I tried holding the key while starting it and eventually after 2 seconds or so the engine turned over. I looked for other posts with this problem but none had the same symptoms. Is this something that I can ignore for now or will it get worse? Last thing I want to have happened is be stranded in the St. Lawrence River or get to the dock and not be able to start her. Any suggestions as to what this could be? The boat used to crank over right away up until my first winterization/summerization so maybe something I did there caused it?
