I need a wakeboarding boat for an intermediate boarder.
I know the Mobius is a true board boat, but the OUTBACK has much greater value. Is the OUTBACK too much of a compromise for wakeboarding or could it be a decent boarding boat??

I've ridden behind an Outback and I own a Mobius. The Outback I boarded behind was loaded with ballast and wake behind it was awesome. I really don't think that you can go wrong with either of the boats. Skiing behind the outback was really nice as well.

I think probably the biggest decision to make concerning a new boat is whether to go with a direct drive vs. v-drive. If you decide to go with the Outback, Outback LS, or direct drive Mobius and you want to make it and awesome wakeboard boat, you will probably have to sacrifice on the number of people you can take with you. However if you decide on the v-drive there are alot more storage areas to keep ballast without having to sacrifice so much room.
