Today we were out surfing filled my left ballast 750# surfed for a couple hours Drained it then went wakeboarding for a while. Well we filled it again surfed and when it came time to emty it the pump would not come on. 2007 LSV anyway I can hear the pump come on to fill the bag but when you go to empty it no sound at all. I got to looking around looks like I have 1 pump to fill all 3 bags and 3 seperate pumps to drain. I checked the fuse's under the dash all are good as far as I can tell. The right and front ballast are working flawless. Wondering if anyone else has had this problem, is it the drain pump that has burned up or something else? Thank You

Did you check to see if the drain hose might have gotten pinched when you filled it the second time?

yeah sure did no pinch in the hose, think it has something to do with pump because I can't hear it come on when I put switch to empty. Thnx for reply

I have a similar problem. First I upgraded to 750's over the winter. The right side was filling a small amount while driving, I have the switch flipped up the same as the one on the left. When the right one filled, maybe 150lbs, I turned on the pump to drain it and can here it but it was making a weird sucking sound. I had to pull the bag and empty it by hand. We boated the rest of the day and when we got back to the lift the bag had another 150lbs in it. My old 400lb bag on the right side did not fill when driving. Please help!

moseley if u can hear your pumps working I would guess u have air in your lines somewhere, This happened to me as well I drained my bags by hand rolled the bags up so no air was in them then re connected the hoses this seemed to fix my problem. I think my current problem is my drain pump is burnt up it dosnt come on when I flip the switch to emty.

Has anyone replaced there factory drain pumps with the tsunami 800 gph pump, and if so how does it work?
