We're trying to get geared up for this year's Super Summer of Surfing Sinclair Moomba Jam and need to try and get a quick headcount to make sure we've got enough food & beer. This year is alrerady shaping up to be the biggest one yet so we might need to start looking for some sponsors.

Let me know if you're going to be able to join us this year!

We will be there!

Still trying to work out where we are staying. Unfortunately I wasn't able to find anything super close........ Looks like we will be staying over by Sinclair Marina.

But I am PUMPED to be going! I am debating on throwing some sort of wild animal on the smoker for a small feast.....

Didn't realize I was the headliner for this one. Hope you know I can't sing a note.

I said "Yes", but if it is higher than 70% chance of rain, we'll not be making the drive... That or an un-forseen complete boat breakdown are the only things that would stop us at this point. I'm very excited about it!

No beer for me. Please let me know anythign else you'd like us to bring though. Speaking of beer, that is kind of one of my wife's concerns...Just how much drinking are y'all doing?...

Well for the clermont one they had a beer truck in the parking lot making trims all day and night just to keep up and there was only 6 couples, so you do the math..!!!

No just kidding, they kept everything well under control, there is a lot of kids there. We dont drink much and nobody really got out of control. So in my opinion come on down and enjoy and you shouldnt have any worries, they are all big talkers about how much they drink

11 Outback V has let our secret out! Yes, we're bigger talkers than drinkers. Please have you wife rest easy that this is first, and foremost, A FAMILY EVENT.

Check out my posts from before where I stated that if you're planning to show up and get drunk, high or just act a fool, I will kindly ask you to leave my property. If you don't I will show you the business end of my AR-15, then call the sherriff.

t's a public access lake, so I can't legally remove you, but we will sac out all the boats and circle yours like angry great whites, sending roller after roller after roller at you until your boat is swamped. Then we will laugh at you and surf away. :p

The past 2 events have been incident free and I plan to keep it that way.

If anyone is leaving early Sunday morning from the Lake Lanier area, maybe we can all head down together (everyone towing their boats of course) lol!

We are planning on being there unless job or weather does something bad.
We are in Flowery Branch if anyone want to meet and follow we are in.
The Supra went in the water Saturday it ran out well.

"If you don't I will show you the business end of my AR-15, then call the sherriff. "

Really bad plan for a family event.

Leave your security blanket in your house and just call the Sherriff.

YOU don't wanna end up with a slug in your forehead... at a family event.

Uh, guess you missed the joke there that goes back to another thread . . .

In case anyone else thought I was serious, please be aware that I was not. The point is that THIS IS A FAMILY EVENT. The folks that I have spoken with that plan to attend are looking forward to a fun-filled, family weekend.

We're getting down to serious prep time for the 2011 Sinclair Jam. Hope you all are looking as forward to it as my family is!

Momma, T & J have all been workingon their wakeboardig & surfing skills. THANKFULLY, the tubes have hardly been wet this year.

J has thrown down a challenge to all comers: THE "JJ-STYLE" FIRE HYDRANT FREE RIDE

Can you do it? Can you outlast her? Here is a short sample:

Well, seeing as how I can't do that even when I'm NOT on a surf board I think she wins this round. But I may have a challenger on the way up soon.

Since this is year 3 of the Sinclair Jam, I think it's time to have an official tshirt. Anyone coming to the Jam that would like to order needs to PM me by Sunday @ 8:00pm EST with quantity and size.

These will be simple this year. White shirts with black print. Sizes range from toddlers to XXL. Cost is $13.00 per shirt. I'll ask that you pay me when you pick up your shirt(s).

If you aren't going to be able to attend, but still want a shirt, again send me a PM by Sunday at 8:00pm EST. I will order your shirt(s) and add a little for shipping (maybe $3 thru US POst Office?). We can work out payment details on a case-by-case basis.

Found "wannajet" aka Scott out on the lake this weekend. Great guy from the short time we talked and super daughter (and boyfriend) who we kidnapped for a couple hours and ran thru some surf lessons. She was very intent on the tips we were giving her and was surfing within 8-10 tries. Her boyfriend was up on 1st attempt, but his session was cut short when Momma-jet sent the posse out as it was time for lunch.

The lake was a bit crazy this weekend, but my family is excited to meet all of you that plan to spend some time with us next weekend. Safe travels to all that are coming.

Heading out first thing Saturday morning. We are already half packed. Hope to get there at a decent hour. I will have to spend the next two days out at the property doing cleanup some more. Not really looking forward to that.
