We just upgraded to the 1,100lb sac this year from our 750,, havnt put it in the water yet since the weather continues to be crap in the PNW..

anyone run the set up with a 1,100 in the rear and the 400lb in the center locker filled up?
im assuming im gunna need to sppeed up a bit and put the wakeplate down for the longer wave,

how is the wave? wakeplate setting? speed? pics?

i run the 1000lb rear surf side locker, center locker and bow sac full... wake plate up.... 10.5 mph

just picked up 2 400lb bags to experiment with as well...

Is anybody putting any weight in the opposite vdrive locker in the LSV's?

400 center is not enough, you'll need bow weight for sure or else you'll have a tall short and steep wave. A little weight in opposite sac will sink the boat a little more and give the wave more push

im not really looking for the money in buying the 240$ bow sac plus hoses and pumps to do it the right way, i may just have to add some concrete blocks up front to add a bit more beef

how well do you think putting the wakeplate down a bit more and increasing the speed would help lengthen it out?

Without bow weight to push more hull into the water, speed and less plate will mean shorter, less powerful wake. Concrete blocks means you'll also be carrying concrete blocks all the time just burning fuel when cruising. Not to mention the wear and tear on your trailer axles and bunks loading 400+lbs of concrete.

the trailering is no issue to me with the blocks, the only time the boat is ever on the trailer over summer is when we pull it out once a week to wash it on the boat ramp for a hour or so lol, im sure ill figure out something besides the bag up front, little experimentation never hurts !

Since you already have the 750, you could buy a fitting for it and use a Tsunami hand held pump (like the one shown below), and set it on top of the built in cooler/observer seat and fill it up. You could also move your rear pull out seat over there to help support it.

I run a 750 in the rear locker and a 400 in the ski locker but picked up another 750 over the summer with a hand held pump for cheap so I am going to give it a try and see what difference it makes.

You really need more bow weight. Whether you you get a triangle sac or and IBS (integrated bow sac) you need weight up front.

Check my signature link for pics with the 1100's and an IBS sack up front.

Like YDM said with no weight up front the wave will be tall but not very long.

thanks guys for the input!!!! im thinkin im gunna just try the concrete blocks for now, i got a few other ideas as well for some extra weight lol or just cram people in the bow!
