Rope length?

I have never had the pleasure of riding behind anything from Mastercraft, but its wider than a Malibu VLX and Nautique 210 we ride behind, Jamie I ride on Kempenfelt Bay in Barrie, and up in Honey Harbour as well.

ya I also have friends in Monck Lake, we stay at their cottage every once in a while, the Westfalls. I've brought the boat up there a couple times, absolute incredible conditions.

I ride at 65' and 22mph I find the wake nice and rampy which makes it great for landings, I have an ls though so maybe that makes a difference.

Thanks for the feedback. Friends of mine keep bragging that they ride at 75' or 80'. The wake on my LSV sucks back there. I wasn't sure if I was missing something. Maybe some skill or ballast or something. Maybe different boats wakes are designed to build father back and it's not a better riders ride further back thing?

Personally I've been trying to shorten up a bit and ride a bit slower. 21-22. makes the falles easier to take.

Over the last year I have made the move from about 23 down to 22 and I can honestly say the falls hurt less. I'm also riding at 65 feet. Mobius XLV with 2600lbs.

I have also learned more new tricks this year then in the past 2 combined and I have only been out 4 times. (Landed Wrapped Backside 360s, Backside 180's, Toeside Frontside 360's and a roll to revert).

I ride at 65 feet with plus or minus 3000 pounds in the boat depending on the amount of people. I ride at 24.7, idk why but if I ride any slower than 23 i feel like I'm sinking.

Nice work on landing all the new tricks this year. Considering it's only June that is amazing. Generally it's July before I remember what I learned last summer. Then about a week before it's time to winterize the boat I land something new. The I repeat the process the next summer.

I would assume with 3000lb you would have to drive faster. Makes sense.

This may be a new thread but what speed are you wake skating at?

The wake on my Outback is a little wide. Most who ride behind my boat like a 60-70 foot line depending on ballast. On my trick ski I ride 45 feet (not as much lift from a trick ski) no matter what. As the ballast increases, so does the altitudes I am hitting at the apex.
