Pulled the graphics of the boat today.

I pulled the side moomba stickers off today. I'm still undecided on whether I should take the LSV stickers off. I think it's going to look really good on the water.

Love it! I'd leave the LSV's on, and I'd get the registration numbers re-done to match the LSV lettering on the back.

Yeah thats exactly what I was thinking of doing. The reg #'s looked bad before but now without the graphics they look even worse. I want to have the tower powder coated black so bad.

I want to get mine powder coated so bad but how much do I want to re run the wires up the tower again hmmmm..... choices

Oh and I love the naked look I may do that to mine It would have happened a long time ago if mine was one color not 2, not sure how good it would look naked

Just my .02 but I think graphics look better...then again just my .02 I'm scetching up some graphics now for my boat. I find that the one can't quite tell that it's a beast wake boat from afar on the lake when it's naked.

Last time I checked, SC wanted $800 for the factory graphics.

Here's a before pic. I would love to have the tower black and tinted windows if money grew on trees. I actually want the stuff that surrounds the stainless rubrail to be black too but i'm not sure how hard or expensive that is to change. Idk if i'll ever want graphics back on the boat but if I do my brother works at the local supra moomba dealer so I should be able to get a decent deal on them.

I don't think I'm gonna go back to the big graphics on the side, but might add the chrome mobius lsv grapics on the back and get reg #'s to match but other than that I'm loving the clean look.

I actualy like my tower more. The v2 tower is too skinny for my taste, even the first illusion towers on malibu boats are too skinny for me. I love malibu's G3 tower though probably my favorite on any boat out there.

BTW the retail on the big chrome moomba emblems is $240. Not too bad.

Yes my dealer told me $240 for a set of those and somewhere around $60 for the mobius lsv decal on the back.

Wow...screamin' deal. Had the Moomba dealer up here in Canada price out the new chrome lettering for my XLV. $447.72 for the two big Moomba's on the side, $54.88 for the one Moomba across the back, $82.92 for the two small Mobius on the side and $117.24 for the two XLV's. He said this was all through Skiers Choice.

I'm working with a sign shop to replicate the new chrome lettering package, either using a brushed aluminum vinyl decalling or maybe a thin aluminum substrate and then router cut the letters.

I'll let you know how it works out and more importantly, how it looks.

WOW! That's ridiculous for those stickers! You'd be better off spending just a little more and getting it wrapped however you like... Of course, you've got a good idea with making them youself. Those metal stickers would look sweet against the red...

New Guy, thanks for the heads up on that product. My thought was to cut out decals for one side and then have a look. If I like it, I'll probably go with the thin aluminum substrate and apply that, rather than the decal route.

After reading your post, I spoke to my sign buddy and confirmed the brushed aluminum vinyl product only has a manufacturers rated 1-year life span. Although it generally lasts longer than that, especially if not exposed to direct sunlight everyday, as you've experienced, the longer you leave it on the tougher it is to get off.

Decals came off real easy with the Texas heat we had today. Had some glue i guess it was stuck on a few places but the magic eraser saved the day again. gave her a good wax with the freshly delivered Boat Bling and here we go.

Shoot me some honest opinions on the new look. I got tough skin, feelings wont get hurt....

I think it looks sharp, the biggest reason went with no graphics was to give it that lower sleek profile in the water.

Tint that windshield and it will look bad ass

I liked the shattered glass mobius graphics on there better IMO. the stripped look is just kind of boring to me. i hate the graphics on my boat, wish i had the mobius with the tribal designs around it or something.

LOL! Nah, I am sure its not the picture. I am color blind. Not the red/green colorblind, but yellow/orange/red, blue/purple/black/navy etc etc. Colors like that are hard for me to see.

But, you probably should take it back to the dealer and request the red and black. And Drew is right. You should then put a big G on it and probably fly a UGA flag from the top. :cool:

That's funny - I saw that boat on Ebay right?

That's the one! He won it from Bud Light! He took the wrap off because everyone kept asking him if it would come off, that and the fact that the DNR stopped him every time he took it out! I would have kept it on for at least a few seasons to protect the finish, and it would have been a kick to take our small group from church out in the Bud Light Boat.

Another naked fan here. Naked boats def look better on the water than on the trailer, though.

I really didn't feel like I had much of a choice. It was hard to even pretend I liked the original graphics when buying the boat. I ended up putting on small decals.

We are in the Corvallis Region as a 3rd seed. Not expecting too much out of them this year. Pretty banged up and lost one of our best players in a collision that left him partially paralyzed. :( But we may surprise some folks. We had the toughest schedule in the nation and still finished above 500. We'll see......

It's a water trampoline!! 299 at academy. Great for when we find a cove, air it up and let the kids go crazy then fold it up and throw it in rear locker for some extra weight. Anchor is attached to bottom so it stays flat when kids climb ladder to get on top then when when folded just a tad bit more weight to help boat lean.

And yes I do need some speakers on the tower. Think u da man is gonna hook me up with a pretty good deal when his moomba/axis stereo set up gets complete. If that falls thru I'll jump back into the open market.

Priceless memories and the greatest gift a man can ever have is his children. One in the pic is mine and the one with the pink vest is my niece. My 9 year old daughter and 13 year old son were just outside the pic. And yes, I dread the day they leave the house for the big people's world. Without a doubt newty and moombadaze. They are both at nana's last night and son stayed at a buddies house. Amazing how bored and heart broken you get when their not running the house crazy!! Can't imagine what it'll be like when they grown and out of the house for good. Not looking fwd to it at all, cherish every minute I have now
