that thing is pretty sweet. they need to redesign the rear end however and add a swim platform. but i really dig the concept. and word on what something like that would run??

Pretty cool but i can see it costing a ton because its alluminum, were as fiber glass is much cheaper.

Will be nice to see what comes of it.

says it's 2/3 the weight of a 'glas boat. great for towing, but not for boarding/surfing. just needs that much more water to sink it.

^^^ Second sandm. I'd be interesting to get some audio of the boat. I have been in some aluminium river boats that had a lot of hull noise in anything but smooth water. What is the thing in the middle of the transom?

Does looks like something James Bond would drive though :p

my buddies 21ft whitewater boat is a different experience. 460ford that is noisy has H@ll, any little ripple in the water has the boat crashing and sounds like it'll fall apart, non air ride seats are a workout for your arse... guessing this one will have some of the same aspects?
but if you want a boat that'll shoot up hells canyon whitewater without skipping a beat, he's got the boat. part of the properties of jetboats is there ability to run in very shallow water. I wonder how he's getting around that?

I think the main draw to it would be the durability as well. I would guess it would be bulletproof compared to a glass counterpart. No more worries about beaching it and cracks in gelcoat would be a thing of the past!

If my math is correct (and again, this is using conservative estimates) I think, assuming it's in the hot summer months, it would take me about 9 1/2 weeks. Sounds like a love affair doesn't it?
