I just received my Bullet lines underwater lights and am trying to decide where to install them and I wanted to see where everyone else mounted their lights. I'm also a little concerned because the transom has a lot of "curves", where the fiberglass isn't perfectly flat. I wonder if this is going to be an issue too. Also how far down or how close to the bottom of the boat can they be mounted safely? Is 1/4-1/2" enough from bottom edge?

Sorry I can't help at this point... We will be doing the lights next year and have the exact same boat as yours... I would sure appreciate some pictures etc.. once your all done. It would give us an idea of what we will do next year.

Thanks and good luck with the install!

I have an OBV and I just installed these:

Now that I have instaled them, I think I should have set them further away from the Fresh Air Exhaust as it may cause some shadowing. Haven't had a chance to try them out yet so I'll let you know.

totally off topic canuckle, but why is your location in Canada and your signature reads, "Bye Bye Chicago! Hello Nashville!" Are you moving to the States?

LOL! No, I am a Vancouver Canucks fan. We beat Chicago in round one (barely) and now are up against the Nashville Predators. Series is 2-1 for Vancovuer and the 4th game is on tonight.

GO CANUCKS!

Ah, thanks for the clarification. Ya know, living in Atlanta, I don't/can't follow the NHL with the crap the Thrasher put out there.

Did you run them to the dash or tie them in with any interior lights or the nav lights? post up some pics on the under water view . anxiously awaiting

I haven't wired them in yet so I have no idea. I am waiting for my friend who is a Marine Electrician to come and help me with this and the rest of my LED's, my stereo upgrade and my 2nd battery. Oh yeah, and the wiring in of my Ballast pumps and switches.

Still lots of work to do but at least I am making progress. I have the new intakes installed and the new glassed in sub box for my 12" Exile should be complete today to. Will post more pictures as I make more progress.

I liked them better when they were the Atlanta Flames.

most everyone in the ATL did too.

tickets were 1/2 of what they charge now and they actually won a decent amount of games!
