Changes made between 2003 and 2005 on Mobius

ok, I'm all set to buy a used 2003 Mobius. Can someone tell me the differences between the 2003 and 2005 models? I know about the riser seat. The 2005 sales brochure mentions a new hull shape. I thought the hull was the same. The 2003 is just called the Mobius, but it appears they changed the name to the Mobius LS in 2004. Is it the same Outback LS hull on the 2003 as it is on the 2005?

Other than graphics, etc, what changes were made?

The 2003 has the same hull as the 2005 Mobius LS. The only change will be a charcoal standard accent and a redesigned bow for the 2005. I'm not sure if the engine box was upholstered for 2003 either, 2005 is. Of course engine options are different, 310 standard, 325 mpi and 340 mpi upgrades. The 05 has a hard tank under the rear seat for ballast, not sure about the 03, i know 01s had a sack.

yeah this one has a hard tank under the seat for the ballast, and a EFI engine. the newer engines state 325 hp, but this one states 320. is the engine different, or just the way they are determining the HP?

The engine cover for the '03 also has a small jump seat on the rear of it where the '05 does not.

The 320 is a throttle body injection, the 325 is a multiport injection. You will get a little better efficiency out of the 325.
