Tower Board Racks

Do the wake board tower racks that go on the oval cross bar stick out farther than the sides of the boat? I want board racks but it is already a tight fit to get my boat into storage, I want to make sure it will fit with racks.

Well I can tell you that with the tower down on my '07 LSV I had to remove them to get into a 10' space easily. I took mine off and added quick disconnect racks from Air Boom.

I know that even my factory supra swivel racks are a real tight fit in my 7x9 garage. I want to add another rack, but haven't yet due to this...

after looking at all that online, plus the price of boards to put in the racks im starting to think that maybe i dont make enough money to be a boat owner....anyone want an 08 lsv??? lol

maybe i should just try spreading this out over a few years. ill get board racks NEXT summer

i have an 08 LSV, garage door is 9'wide and 8' high. i put the tower down, remove the guide poles from the trailer, fits in no problem. i have factory board racks mounted on the upper oval bar. if you are putting in a 10' door, i would not even worry about the factory racks.
