I am thinning the fleet folks.

I have several boats I want to sell, including a stern-drive powerboat, a sailboat, and a couple of woodies.

Rather than posting a VERY long post, find details for the boats for sale here:

2005 Stingray 220SX Powerboat:
http://tulsa.craigslist.org/boa/2294874750.html

1987 Catalina Sailboat:
http://sailingtexas.com/201101/scatalina22406.html

1957 North American Woodie Runabout:
http://www.heartland-classics.org/trading-dock/

1956 Burchcraft Outboard Cruiser:
http://tulsa.craigslist.org/boa/2290491505.html

1957 Wagemaker Wolverine Runabout:
http://tulsa.craigslist.org/boa/2290507234.html

These are all mine, so this is not a commercial listing. I just have a lot of boats. All acquired legally... I bought them...

Thanks for looking

Phil, I thought that Catalina was your "baby". Do you have a new sailboat project on the way?

The one for sale is the Catalina 22. yes, I am working on a 1975 Catalina 27. MUCH bigger boat, more room, and autopilot... :D

See pics and read about progress here, on the Catalina Owners site:

The old wood boats are gorgeous, but when they get to that point, it is sometimes hard to use them. You don't want to go hang out in pary cove with them..... Wait I didn;t say that... They are a blast in party cove, you GOTTA try it out! :D

Here is anothe woodie I am keeping, my '54 Bellcraft:

Some nice ones in there. Didn't you post pics of custom pods for the stingray a little while back?

yeah. I did not post any of those pics in the ad, as IAm unsureI will include them in the ale of the boat. Why, you want to buy? If you step up, I can consider throwing the tower system in... :)

I want this one.

Will it carry 5 people? I read the ad, but can you clarify if it's currently running?

My first boat looked a lot like that one. But some idiot had painted the whole thing white with a red stripe and blue bottom. It had a 25 horse motor. We skied behind it too. I think I was about 9. My uncle found a new boat but needed to get something for that one to make the deal. My Dad stepped in and bought it from him right away so he could get his new purple boat (LOL!). We had it for about a month as a second boat and then Dad sold it out from under me. I liked our shiny red runabout with the HUGE Johnson 70 better though.

5 how large? :) If you are talking mom and dad up front and three kids in back, yes. Two generations of the Fox family, (the peopleI bought it from) learned to ski behind this boat.

It carries 4 adults and a cooler, although, it is, well, intimimite. The boat feels a lot like a little sports car when you are driving.

It is not currently running, but will not take much. I could probably go out and get it in a tank and coax it to life, but the motor has been sitting a while and it wants a little TLC, like any motor that has been sitting. In the ad I mention it needs new gears, (included) and a clutch installed. While at that, a new water pump impeller needs installed. I have the tools here, and could do the work to get the motor dialed if the price was right.

You are kind of on a right logic track...

Part of it has to do with the fact that my wife is pregnant with our first. There are some changes that have to happen around the old Phil house...

My single/young couple days are over as we all know it... :D

Congratulations-yes life as you knew it is over, but I would never even think about tradeing my current life with wife and kid for the old ways
