What Boards Fit

I am going to buy a new Wake Surf board. Before I do though I would like to hear from you guys which ones fit in the OME board racks. Secondly which swivel board racks have you upgraded to. I would like to keep the OME racks because I have to get new surf board, new wake board, new ballast and bindings.

All Phase 5 boards will fit. A few Inland Surfer boards will fit. Triple X skim board will fit. You're probably not looking at handshaped boards yet but they usually won't fit and are usually more fragile so people don't usually squeeze them into racks.

my phase 5 is tight, but fits well and a friends different phase 5 fits.
hyperlite broadcast with no issues.
inland 4-skim is tight as well, but fits.

I'm not sure the CWB Ride fits. I honestly cant remember bc i only tried to slide mine in once or twice, though. The Broadcast def fits. Both of those are beginner boards and all around great boards to have on the boat for new people to try out.

Obrien boards fit the alias and TT as well as the broadcast and pahase 5 as already stated.

a lot of the xxx stuff won't fit in the factory racks tho. their skim stuff does, but the bigger boards won't.

^ Hold off on that a couple days. I have the board and racks at my house and can double check. Honestly, i was thinking my ride didnt fit in the factory racks. I use a surf rack for it.

I think the Ride is pretty tight in there but does go in OK.

How wide are the forks , and are these racks surfboard or keyboard oem. And the width between both forks.

I have the Roswell swivel racks up high and some ebay C-Clamp OEM clones on the lower level. The broadcast fits, a hyperlite venture fits, my Grindwater does not. I bought a set of Roswell SI Wakefurf Tines and replaced the standard Rowsell tines on one swivel rack so it has a wide slot that fits the thick Grindwater. After that I swicthed course and went with the Monster Tower cargo bimini so I can put other thick boards up there if needed. Although I am still considering swapping out the other set of standard Roswell tines with the SI wakesurf... but that's another 300 bucks basically... I tried to get the SI wakesurf tines right off the bat when I bought the boat as the swivel racks were an option and had to be ordered in, by Atlanta Marine wouldn't work with me on that so I had to settle for the standard tines... Stiil hot about that... dropping that kind of coin and paying for the upgrades already and still not being able to get what I really wanted and then having to drop more coin to replaces the tines...

Roswell tines were crazy expensive when i looked into them a year or so ago. I ended up going with Monster racks (surf/wake) and have been happy with that setup. 2 stock roswells and 2 monster surf/wake combos

Dimensions please, most new surf style boards are going thicker to be able to surf a wider weight of people. The new flyboy made by IS will be 1.7/8 thick + traction.

I'll try and remember to measure the Roswell SI Wakesurf tine spacing for the wakesurf specific slot. I looks like maybe twice the space between the standard Rowsell tines. My Grindwater Mauka with tread fits snug, bot too tight but snug. It is at least 1 7/8 I would think. I'll try and measure one of my Maukas tonight too I already have it down repairing a dent made during shipping. FedEx sucks BTW IMHO :rolleyes:

The shipping company's say that every package needs to able to handle a 3 to 4 ' drop. It's the board co. That ship their boards on cheap 200# cardboard. 1300$ purchase in December on 2 boards from the same person. Both came in damaged. And I will have to repair.

I received a poorly packaged one as well. Came in damaged but I was able to send it back and have it repaired.

The Roswell SI Wakesurf tines spacing for the large gap tine is right about 2.5 inches. My Grindwater Mauka is 1.75 inches max thickness (according to the board) plus the tread so roughy 1 7/8 and it fits nicely. 2 inch thick board wouldn't be an issue. I guess it depends on the thickness and curvature of the board between the spacing of the tines, if it is real flat in the middle I would think the entire 2.5 inches could be used.

As said before phase 5 oogle fits fine and the cwb tsunami fits but alittle too tight for my liking.
